Celebrating 10 years of the Small Grants Programme

The True Colours Trust and the African Palliative Care Association (APCA) are delighted to announce the launch of a short film/video competition to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Small Grants Programme for palliative care development in Africa.

Since it was launched in 2009, the Small Grants Programme has awarded over 160 grants to organisations which are making a real difference to palliative care provision and access for children and adults with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions across the continent. To mark the 10th anniversary, we would like to celebrate the work that you do and look to the future by sharing your stories with others.

We would like to invite your organisation to submit a short three-minute film/video which demonstrates the work that you do, the difference it makes to patients’ lives and the impact that it has on your communities. The work of local palliative care providers is vital as our nations work towards providing Universal Health Coverage, where palliative care is a core component alongside promotive, preventive, treatment and rehabilitative care. Help us to celebrate the contribution that you all make to the provision of palliative care.

For more information about the competition, please see the Anniversary page of the website.
